About

The blogger

Hey guys! My name is Cake. I'm a seventeen year old girl from the Kodiak Islands, but currently residing in the Southern of the United States. I'm a student in High School and an aspiring fashion designer/artist. My biggest passions are the world of fashion, fine arts, and the study of human psychology and philosophy. I'm only about five feet tall and mixed with European Spanish, Polish, and Mexican. I'm bilingual and hope to someday also speak French, Italian, and Portuguese.

I believe in luck, karma, spirits and angels more than I believe in any religion. I'm a goal setter, a day-dreamer, and hopeless romantic. But I sin like a demon with good intentions, your classic story of good girl gone bad. I'm too self-conscious and inside nothing more than an awkward bundle of nerves, too worried about making a good first impression that sometimes I even forget to speak. And to be honest, I'm terrible when it comes to intimate relationships and social circles.

I use my muses as an escape from the real world or as a way to express my feelings. Clothes and designs are my open gates to freedom, and escape from the city I live in. Here where the southern belles shoot up crack and the devils shit on our children's dreams. Society has turned into a devil's toilet, and alcohol, drugs, and tobacco have made a lasting impression on my life. But I do plan on leaving my bad habits behind one day.

My personal sense of style changes every season, but I've narrowed it down into three main categories: chivalry femininity, European goth, and androgynous. All styles are connected with my personal mind. The first is for my feminine, and romantic side. It represents the sweet lady inside of me that only wants to be pretty and get swooped off her feet. European Goth is for the darkness inside my soul and thoughts. THANK goodness Fashion accepts with open arms the "edge" of the gothica style that has, really, haunted me for years. And lastly, androgynous. pretty self explanatory, as I've always been confused on how a girl should be and act. From being a tomboy in elementary to now that I deal with personal conflicts with sexual orientation. From these three main trees, my oufits will branch out and expand with other influences, such as seasons and whatever I'm into at the moment. Please understand THIS IS NOT A TREND BLOG. It's free fashion for a reason, and that being: I wear what I like, however I like it. Now and forever.
